Delhi based
Textile Designer, Mahesh Borse, is a Post Graduate from the
National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad and a Graduate from Sir
J.J. School of Arts, Mumbai. He has been working as a freelance
Designer in the field of Home Furnishings for over two decades. He
also works as a Textile Artist and has showcased his work at the
Lalit Kala Academy, British Council in Delhi and the European
Patchwork Show in Paris.
He has been
associated with various Government Organisations such as The
Office of The Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), O/O The
Development Commissioner (Handlooms), UNDP, GTZ (Nepal), UP
Handloom Corporation Ltd, J&K Handloom Corporation Ltd, as well as
private organisations such as FabIndia, ITC Ltd, Montari
Industries, Rajasthan PetroSynthetics Ltd, Avco Traders Pvt Ltd,
Expectations and many more, with a main focus on overseas markets.
He has conceptualised more than 60 presentations for various
clients, for their Textile Fair participations in Europe and USA.
He has also been
associated with various NGOs and Development Organisations.

A post graduate
in Textile Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad,
S M Kulkarni has worked on various Design Development projects in
the Crafts and Industrial sectors. He has also worked on the
Golden Eye exhibition at New York as part of the Festival of
India, that sought to give new direction to Indian Craft in its
application and marketability. Kulkarni runs Design Quest, a
Design Studio and Development unit at Noida and works on various
Design Development projects. |
